After two weeks of sickness I’m finally back to the gym. If you have made fitness part of your life and your identity, you know the void that a longer period of time can cause. You want to work out because that’s who you are but you know that you have to rest as much as you need so that you can get back to your true self as soon as possible.
This was a great workout. I felt the decrease in strength but it was so much better than anticipated. You’re mind plays tricks on you and makes you think that short-term setbacks are much more severe than they actually are.
